Üritus toimub Helsingis, üritusel osalemine on tasuta, aga reisikulud tuleb inimesel endal tasuda (sõidukulu ja ööbimine on võimalik meie Seltsil kinni maksta). Võimalik osaleda veebi teel esimesel päeval! Teisel päeval toimub töötuba, kus saab osaleda ainult kohapeal.
Right to live independently and be included – registration is open!
Finland is holding the Presidency in the Nordic Council of Ministers in 2025. In the disability sector we launch the Presidency year with the event Right to live independently and be included.
The aim is to promote the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities CRPD, especially in the areas where there are particular common challenges.
Experiences and examples will be presented from the Nordic countries, Baltic countries and from the European level.
Topics are:
- Independent living such as de-institutionalization by developing services for the local community
- Supported decision-making

12th of February 2025 at 12 pm–4 pm, (UTC +2) hybrid event
13th of February 2025 at 9 am–12 am, (UTC +2) workshops in Helsinki on site.
Where: The event is online and on-site at the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare in Helsinki, Finland
There is no cost to attend the event. The event language is English. International sign language interpretation and speech-to-text interpretation will be organized at the event. The venue of the event is accessible.
